The best battery for power tools

★Power tools require up to 50 amps and operate in a hostile environment. The tool must operate at temperatures below zero, and withstand high heat. The batteries must also withstand shock and vibration. Most power tools are equipped with nickel-cadmium batteries. nickel-metal-hydride has been tested with limited success. Longevity is a problem, but new models have been improved. Lithium-ion is too delicate and could not provide high amperage. Lead-acid is too large and not persistent power supply. The tool of power is simply no suitable alternative to the arduous and difficult task of nickel-cadmium batteries. In an attempt to accumulate more energy than in power tools, battery voltage is higher. Given the current high demand and low temperature, corresponding to the cell is important. Game of the cell becomes more critical than the number of cells connected in series increases. A low battery has less capacity and are downloaded more quickly than the strong. This difference causes the reversal of the cell in the cell of weakness if the battery is discharged at high current 1V/cell below. A short-circuit occurs in the small cell where they are exposed to opposing traffic and the packet must be replaced. Plus the battery voltage, the more they are damaged with a small cell.
