This is undoubtedly the best instant read thermometer I've used ever. It's quick, only 3 to 4 seconds, and extremely accurate. This is a great device, and the screen is big, easy to read numbers. The probe sensor is the longest I've seen and the temperature sensor on the tip of the probe. Besides the new spill-resistant design is the concern of moisture. Thermapen recommend for any serious cook who wants the best.

I tried another thermometer, but became increasingly frustrated waiting, during and after marking up. I have this problem with Thermapen. In the other, I spent much time with his head in the oven (and heat), and finally I thought it would be better to pay more for a fast thermometer very good work in a variety of settings. I bake bread and the internal temperature of the great breads, to ensure proper control, cooking, but do not want much a big hole in the ground. Research on Thermapen is very thin, so the hole is significantly less than when I the other. Another thing I like is that when you open the Thermapen, is the moment in his presence, and is turned off. The replaceable battery is easily accessible when and if necessary change to ensure a long service life. One advantage for me is that I cook a single portion of something, there is not much space to enable them to insert a thermometer. The sensor of this probe is approaching the end, so you are not too far away to read a good fit you. The only thing is that I do not like to turn left, the screen is on the wrong side for me, so I have to think consciously in order to keep it in my right hand to read it. I had the most Thermapen and used it a lot. I have one of these and I like much better. Very cool.

I love this thing. Say goodbye to dry chicken. It is not necessary to cook too much, just to be safe. This thermapen is really fast. It is easy to use and do not get wet. LOVE IT!
