the item i ordered was a gift. so i didn’t take it out of the box, instead wrapping it. i was a disappointed that the box the item arrived in was dented, torn and scratched. it was a wedding gift and am a little embarassed it was presented in such a condition.

I bought this gift as a wedding present and they absolutely loved it. They said it was their favorite and they couldn’t wait to use it. The product came quickly (early even) and was packaged well.

I received the 4 quart version of this ice cream maker for a Christmas present. I couldn’t get it to hold the water and the ice cream wouldn’t freeze. I returned the freezer and got another one. It also wouldn’t hold water. The quality of these freezers is very questionable. I’m now trying to decide whether to get a White Mountain or another type with a plastic bucket.

I have never been able to keep the wooden bucket to hold water. I have had it soaking in a large tub of water for 2 months, & when I remove it, it still will not hold water. I bought it at Target last fall, & never have been able to freeze ice cream. When I used it, it never was frozen. I set it in the sink in water, to see if would be cold enough to freeze, & no such luck. . I am not very pleased. I borrowed a used white mountain, & had wonderful success. . D
