I have the art of French cooking, Julia Child, et. al. and discovered that I am the cook I thought I was. It is a little bit about the person who loves to cook, but loves the food 30 minutes. It is a treasure, and I'll try to do some things outside of it, but I doubt I'd live long if I ate, like Julia cooked. Mastering the art of French cuisine, Volume One (1) (Vol. 1)

Not bad for a woman who have been perhaps an agent of the OSS, the version of the Second World War, the CIA. I have always hated to hear Julia Child, but his cooking techniques and recipes are excellent. I have all the books he published. Actually, I have 1 of the editions of "Mastering the art of French cuisine." One of my favorite cookbooks and most used.

I have only recently become acquainted with this book for excellence in French cuisine. I love Julia Child, though it could sometimes be a pill. I think the book is a cookbook indispensable in any kitchen.

A cookbook that is about something more than read. And, unfortunately so. I'm working my way through it. I've learned to cook with the joy of cooking and it reminds me, however, is in many ways a simple presentation of information and other information.
