I have white le creuset pans which I’ve had for a very long time now (about 20 years!) and they still look as good as new. When they get grubby, stained or burnt I put a scoop of Daz biological washing powder in the bottom and fill with very hot water. Leave overnight, rinse and Bob’s yer uncle – good as new again and again and again. Honestly, try it its brilliant.
PS Daz also works on bath stains that you can’t get out – it’s fab stuff (and no I don’t work for them:-)

I’ve always used brillo pads on my enamel ones! works fine. Wouldn’t use them on plain cast iron though.
