I love LeCreuset, and was excited to see the price on this little gem. However, the first one I ordered was severely scratched. I returned it, and the second one I received had the handle mounted sideways!! I don’t know if there was a load of seconds, but I will wait awhile before ordering anymore.

I use this little pot every single day and I love it!
I have many pieces of LC and in my opinion they are the best on the market. They’re so easy to clean, even easier than nonstick. Just fill it with water and after a few minutes it washes so easily. And you don’t have to worry that your family is eating the coating off the pan! I have lots of nonstick pans but find myself always reaching for my LC.
As to this not being authentic, I have two of these pots. The first one I bought in a LC store and it also does not have any markings on the bottom. I doubt that the LC store was selling fakes. Obviously not all pieces have markings on the bottom.

The little pot is great for small batches, and reheating. Le Creuset is the best.

This is NOT a geniune Le Creuset item. All Le Creuset comes with a stamp on the bottom and that includes an identifying number in the middle… this particular item does not have that stamp. In addition, what appears at first blush to be a metal ring at the end of the handle is really a coating that will begin to flake off after minimal use. Pay a little more and get the real thing folks.

THIS WAS MY THIRD PIECE OF LE CREUSET AND I HAVE TO SAY, I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT. I USE IT FOR EVERYTHING, HEAT UP GRAVY FOR MASHED POTATOES, VEGETABLES, OATMEAL, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING! I WILL SAY IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO HEAT UP IN THE BEGINNING, BUT ONCE IT GETS STARTED IT IS GREAT. CLEAN UP WAS A BREEZE, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. LITTLE HEAVY, BUT YOU GET USED TO IT. BEAUTIFUL LOOKING, BOUGHT IT IN THE FLAME COLOR – LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. IF YOU WANT TO INVEST IN PREMIUM COOKWARE, GO FOR IT. WELL WORTH IT! TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM TEFLON BECAUSE OF HEALTH REASONS AND I THINK THIS IS SUPERIOR CHOICE, AND YOU WILL HAVE A LIFETIME OF USE AND THEN SOME. CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS COOKWARE, ONLY WISH I BOUGHT IT SOONER!!!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
