Recently reviewed the purchase of this mixer in white that I bought for my daughter. I bought this one for my wife, it is our second. The first I bought it 29 years ago. I bought it in white then. The first was in regular use, because my wife is a very good cook. We waited for the old to die, even with KitchenAid, which never happened. So after 32 years of marriage, I bought her the KSM152PSNK brushed nickel. If you have any KitchenAid mixer and you love to cook, you need this book. Spend the money and buy one. I know we will get at least 32 years service with our new one.

Only a true fan would buy Kitchen Aid mixer so many of them. I started over twenty years, acted with a cream one, then the 5 qt gray and Industry gave it to my sister, then a black 5 qt, who needed my husband to a friend, because he felt we did not have two, and my favorite is , one this. I gave a cobalt blue 5 qt to my brother, although he rarely cooks, and often works in Belgium and Japan, and a bright red one for a friend. I sell commercial restaurant equipment for 17 years and their products were essential for our success, so I write from more than personal experience. For my home with cherry cabinets in the rich copper mixer deserves a place on my counter. This is a hard working and beautiful companion in the kitchen, especially if you can not afford the space or the course of his larger model. I will always be new momentum dough paddle any further as I have already grinders, juicers, and any other plant. Remember, these are very serious and should go on the counter and not on a shelf or in the garage. Use the paddle for mixing heavy batters and dough hooks for bread. Not stuck with just the whip for everything. I think that all oar in the bowl.

I have this for my birthday last year, and I use all the time for everything from bread, pizza dough, cookies, cakes, icings, fillings and whipped cream. It has endless possibilities! The 5-liter seems to be big enough for my use. I can not imagine that a bigger, because it is so powerful! I never use the pouring shield, however, as it seems to be more of a burden than a help. The nickel color looks great with stainless steel kitchen appliances. It is worth the money. I have the ice cream maker attachment that are fun to make, although I do not use it very often.
