Is my rusty Barbecue grill safe to cook on, or how do I make it safe?

★I tried CLR rust remover and got lots off, but it is still rusty. Is it unsafe to cook on it, and is there anything I can do right now. Hardare stores are closed and I want to cook tonight????

    Maybe until they open, cook something in tinfoil just to be on the safe side.

    Cover the grill with foil, poke some holes in it.
    You can use the grill, carefully. Tomorrow, or before you use it again, put the cold grill in a plastic trash bag with some ammonia. Lay it flat on the ground overnight. Then scrub the rust
    with a Brillo or SOS soap pad. Rinse with a hose.
