The handle I believe is cast stainless steel and the casting finish quality is far from satisfactory. I had written to Amazon.com to enquire but did not get a response (already >2 weeks had past). The handle appears to be poorly finished post (on the underside which makes it less visible) casting process.

Product is beautiful and works for me except the glass cover. It is way too heavy for a petite 5′ person. I’d rather have a stainless steel cover.

I had a Westbend Electric Wok that I have used off and on for years, but it was beginning to tire. I like to make stir fry and with the electric wok out of commission, I needed to find a replacement. I looked at electic woks again, but finally decided to give this one a try. It seemed like a good size and the price was decent.
I am so glad I went with this product. I use it A LOT. It cooks well, cleans well and looks beautiful on my hanging pot rack. In fact I am so happy with it that I am planning on purchasing other cuisinart pans as well.

I ENJOY THE STAINLESS STEEL WOK I PURCHASED FROM AMAZON. COM. IT WILL LAST A LONG TIME AND I CAN CLEAN IT OUT WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT SCRAPING ANYTHING OUT LIKE TEFLON. WHEN I COOK IN IT I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CHEMICALS GETTING INTO MY FOOD, WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT IT. IT IS A VERY FINE WOK. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD PRICE.

This product and all the Cuisinart products I have purchased are fantastic. They look great, cook great, are made well, what else could you ask for.
