** This review is for the Model 500D, 400D different model *** was so excited to finish my extensive research and buy one of these models. Brought it home, read the manual cover to cover before my first experience with machine embroidery. The first few attempts, I went to 5 needles that every time I tried to burst embroider. I tried in different ways from the instructions to the ring of material, etc. The results remained the same. Through a needle every 5 to 10 minute break in the feeding of the dogs and the plate under the basket. After a week in addition to their insatiable appetites of the needles, the annoying auto 'threading cartridge was also finally subsided. Brother 400D is a fantastic little lightweight tool that both sews and embroiders. Carried out wherever they can, because it's hard. Although I combine my other brother embroidery machines love, it was disgusting. The characteristics of sewing all the "seams" is working well, but if I have some embroidery I was not happy. The case was over heating the engine and I could not keep my hand on the case between Pooh and the screen – yes, it was so hot! Then he began to burn smell of burning wires – not the usual for the oil production. So he went out of the machine and then I was cool enough repackaged and sent back!

I bought the machine for some time. This was the first machine that I bought, which could embroider. I found it very easy to use, although a lot of features and different mesh right – even included with Pooh / Disney Designs!
